An ECHO Lifestyle(*)
The Educators for Christian Homeschoolers of Oklahoma (ECHO) is a not-for-profit (501c3) educational support organization. We exist to come alongside homeschool families who are in pursuit of raising their children in the training and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
Approaching all that we do from a Biblical worldview (**) perspective, the ECHO expectation is that each adult and student who is involved with ECHO will conduct himself/herself with Biblical integrity. One’s lifestyle will reflect God’s design for personal and family relationships, a teachable spirit, a willingness to live contentedly under authority, and a commitment to follow the Matthew 18:15-20 principle should an issue arise with another ECHO adult or student.
*Lifestyle: the way in which a person or group lives
**Biblical worldview: a collection of attitudes, values, convictions, and expectations about the world around us. A Biblical worldview helps us make sense of God, the world, and our relationship to God and the world—affirming that God is the sovereign and almighty Lord of all existence.
Statement of Faith
The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God from the beginning to end.
God exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All persons are equal in power and glory.
Christ is the Eternal Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. Christ was born of a virgin, was sinless in His life, died on the Cross as a substitute for all who would repent and believe in Him, rose bodily from the grave, and now reigns with the Father. He will return visibly and personally to earth in salvation and judgment.
All humans are sinful by nature and can only be forgiven by repentance and the expression of trust in Jesus as Savior brought about by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Plan
Parents, Teachers, and Students praying for one another.
"...One of the greatest joys of my life is the privilege of praying for my students. I wanted to focus in a more specific way, hence ECHOS. This acronym is not only easy to remember, but also reminds me that prayer echoes throughout the ages. This side of Heaven, one can never fully know all that God accomplishes through our personal intercession..." ~Jessica Fields, ECHO Math Instructor

Should you include ECHO as part of your family’s home school journey, please consider your student’s ability to self govern.
If a student is unable to govern personal behavior, class participation, accountability for completed class work and good attitude, ECHO is not the place.
Our emphasis for the 2022-2023 year remains ECHO SAFETY FIRST and ECHO EXCELLENCE in all class work, in all social settings.
ECHO is not a school nor are we accredited by any state or national educational agency.
